Eyelash Extension After Care With Prép Beauty Parlour

First time getting lash extensions? Don’t worry here are the do’s & don’ts of eyelash after care for classic, mixed & Russian volume/ 3D lashes!

Prép For Appointment: Please remove all makeup before arriving to your appointment, we understand some clients may be coming straight from work.. which is perfectly okay! In this case you may need to arrive a few minutes early for us to help you remove your makeup to prepare for the lash appointment. Limiting your caffeine/ sugar intake before hand insures a relaxing and comfortable experience. If you like to shower/ wash your hair each day we ask you please do this before your appointment as you cannot get your lashes wet for a minimum of 24 hours.

After Care: The lashes can not get wet for 24 hours minimum so we do ask that you shower before hand if needed. Oil is a big no no for lashes… if you must wear mascara with your lashes please make sure the mascara you are using is water based, we offer Belvada; the best water based mascara for your lashes! Plan on traveling, exercising frequently or living in a humid climate? IntelliSeal Eyelash Sealer is perfect for your classic lashes, it blocks fumes while drying agents cure the adhesive to it’s fullest potential. Try not to rub your eyes or tug on your lashes too much as it may make your natural lashes fall out prematurely, if you sleep on your stomach this may also happen. Our cozy studio has plush King sized pedicure chairs perfect for relaxing in, and you can always enjoy a fresh hot Nespresso as well as a selection of tasty treats with your service. We are also always stocked with the latest magazines and new products to test while you’re getting prépped and pampered!

Whether you’re in for an Express Mani or a deluxe Prép pedicure, nail art is always an option. Starting at $5, (priced by technicians) you can work with your artist to come up with a design! You can also bring in pictures/ideas of other work you’ve seen and our technicians will do their absolute best to try and recreate it! When booking an appointment, be sure to notify us that you would like to add nail art to your service so we can ensure you are booked correctly and get ample time for your nails.

We carry a wide selection of nail “bling” such as Swarovski crystals and authentic Alley Kat nail jewelry. Christian Louboutin designer nail varnish in classic Louboutin red is available upon request. Prép also just introduced new “mood” colour changing nail polishes! We recommend coming back and getting a fill (adding lashes to where they have naturally fallen out) every 2-6 weeks, or when you have a little more than 50% of your lashes left. Fills are priced according to your previous set: Classic Fill $60+, Russian Volume Fill $90+, Mixed Russian & Classic Fill $80+.
