Every year, Prép Beauty Parlour located in the heart of downtown, Vancouver, holds an important role in helping  young graduates get ready for their big prom night! Having a roster of over 15 hair and makeup artists on our team means we have a large array in styles, catering to everybody’s unique needs! Whether it is a full glam, princess look that you envision; or a soft, natural and classy look- our team will make your beauty dreams come true.😘 Grad season is our favourite because it means that we work on beautiful young ladies all day; watching them transform into the real Queen’s that they really are.💜

We understand the financial stress that inevitably comes with grad season… so who doesn’t love luxury services, a beautiful salon interior, stunning graduation hair and makeup AND affordable prices?! Prép Beauty Parlour’s under 18 year old prom hair and makeup package special is: $145 for complete hairstyling, and a full application of makeup (regular price is $175!). And of course, the full application of makeup does indeed include the application of individual or strip false lashes.😉

Not only does our  salon offer prom hair and makeup at our convenient downtown location, but we can travel to YOU as well! Whether that be your house, Burnaby, North Vancouver… you name it!

Miku ♡ Hair & Make Up Artist

 

As one of Prép Beauty Parlour’s newest members, Miku, (yes! You read that correct! Miku, not Mika who we all know and love!) is one of Prép’s most promising artists! Not only is Miku a fabulous make- up artist, but is a hair stylist and dresser as well! She is able to do blow-outs, cuts, and highly skilled in prom/grad hair, as well as intricate wedding up-dos. Before her arrival in Vancouver early Spring 2017, Miku worked at Chiba Salon in Tokyo as the salon manager. Miku is able to do a variety of make up looks, from natural and cute, to glamorous, red- carpet ready looks! Miku says her favourite events to do are party makeup, photoshoots, and of course, Prép’s favourite as well- weddings! Make- up and hair is not Miku’s only area of expertise! She also does pedicures at Prép and loves to help with large spa parties! She has worked alongside Mika with many bloggers and influencers such as Instagram Influencer Chailee Son, and Blanca Blandon from Vancouver’s ‘Populist’.

Besides loving to do hair and makeup, Miku spends her free time watching movies- sometimes back to back- at the theatre and has a guilty pleasure of loving all unhealthy foods! (Though the team at Prép oppose to this as a problem and continue to open their hands to all of Miku’s goodies!)

Prom and graduation season in Vancouver is in full swing! As we approach the busy months leading up to summer, stress piles up and smile tasks become enormous. Why not relax a little and let our team of talented beauty professionals pamper you for your big day? At Prép Beauty Parlour, we offer the best services in the city at the most affordable prices. All our Prép Beauty Team members have professional training, many years experience, and have been hand selected by our leading lady and head of Beauty, Mika. We are dedicated to leaving you feeling gorgeous inside and out!

 

At Prép we like options, and we’re sure you probably do too. That’s why we have put together a carefully selected list of event services to make your decision making super simple, at prices we believe are fair and won’t break the bank. Custom packages are also available, please inquire.

Our downtown Vancouver location is conveniently placed in the middle of the city on Hornby and Nelson, with many different options for accessibility and transit. A short walk for most downtown residents and workers, however parking can sometimes be a little tricky, but can usually be found within the block on either Howe or Hornby Street. Alternatively, there is also a paid parking garage located underneath the Sheraton Wall Center, directly across from Prép.
We also offer mobile beauty services! Most hair and makeup appointments can be booked on location at an additional cost. A pre determined travel fee per artist (based on location) is added to your bill, as well as any additional parking fees (per artist). For bookings that take place in locations such as Whistler, Victoria, Hope, Kelowna, etc, overnight accommodation may be required.

To secure bookings, a non refundable deposit of 50% of the total bill is required. All prices do not include tax or gratuity (.15%). Bookings starting before 7am are subject to early morning fees (per artist). Consultations and trials are available, please inquire.
