Ladies! Prép has got a SECRET to share! Close your eyes and picture this– long, dark, deathly lengthened all natural lashes! You may be quick to answer- eyelash extensions of course! We at Prép are in LOVE and are addicted to eyelash extensions, but we’ve got another new lash service to share with you! Introducing, lash lifts!

Lash lift? What is that? That sounds as painful as curling lashes violently every morning! Don’t fear! “LASH LIFT” is a quick and painless way to semi-permanently curl your natural lashes! Go ahead and apply your lashtastic mascara and you’re good to go! Now you can get away with wearing minimal make-up, ensuring you get that extra 20 minutes of sleep and rushing out the door for another busy day in the city! Lash lifts make it possible to wake up feeling FABULOUS, and with already curled lashes! Now let us walk you through the complete process of lash lift and tinting!

We start the lash lift process by adding a gel pad to the bottom baby lashes to ensure they don’t run off! Just kidding! You might recognize this relaxing procedure if you’re an eyelash extensions enthusiast! Next to determine the curve of the lashes, we have structured and curved silicon pads that are placed on the eyelid. The curved pads come in a variety of sizes and slopes to create different lash curl styles.

Quite similar to the B, D, C, etc  curls of eyelash extensions. Basically, the larger the raise on the silicon pad, the larger the curve of the lashes. Which means if you decide to go with pads with a smaller bump, you will have more visible lift. Our Prép technician will carefully observe and select the correct size so you leave with the look you desire! Gently lifting the top lashes,  we adhere the lashes to the curve of the pad.  After the lashes are adhered to the curve, your Prép technician will then apply a setting or perm gel as well as setting or top gel so your lashes stay freshly curled for 6-8 weeks!

The whole process takes about an hour from start to finish, and lasts about 6-8 weeks! Just seeing your pretty peepers staring back at you! Just imagine those naturally curled and long lashes every morning! For the extra boost, why not add a tint to the lash lift as well? So not only are your eyelashes beautifully curled, but dark and lengthened as well?

Introducing Royal Lashes, now being offered at Prép Beauty Parlour…  experience a new way to wear eyelash extensions elegantly.

Softer, stronger, and lighter than conventional lashes, Royal Lashes allow the appearance of a voluminous look brought on by popular lash style Russian Volume, yet it carries the same weightless and delicacy of our Classic lashes.

Conventional Classic lashes are done by applying one synthetic mink lash to one natural lash. Often giving a very natural effect. For those wanting a more extravagant set, Prép Beauty Parlour also offers Russian Volume sets. Russian Volume lashes can have up to 5 lashes attached to each natural lash and can create a glamorously dramatic look. Royal lashes are the perfect in- between option for clients wanting a mix of the two styles.

Royal Lashes are made with a specific concave edges, giving them an ellipse shape. The shape of the concave surface allows the Royal Lash to enables it’s ability to embrace the natural lash. Due to the natural thickness of the flat lashes, the lashes will create the appearance of 0.20 mm lashes when only the 0.15 mm lashes are applied. With an increased bonding area as compared to conventional lashes, lash adhesive can easily settle in, embracing the natural lash, guaranteeing an smooth application and ensuring it’s security. With the specific shape, Royal Lashes prevent common twisting of the lash, guaranteeing the life length of extensions.

The increased surface area of the royal lash are ideal for Prép ladies with very straight, weak, and thin natural lashes, but are wanting a more dramatic curl. Royal Lashes are weightless on the bottom, allowing them to easily adhere on even the thinnest of natural lashes.

Lash extensions make wedding prép easy and looks effortless during your honeymoon! Haven’t had lashes before but are curious about how it works?

If you have not had lash extensions before we do recommend coming in 1 month prior and receiving a new set of lashes, then booking a lash fill approximately 3-4 days prior to wedding (or a week max if leaving before hand for destination wedding) incase you would like to make your set more dramatic or less!

We offer 3 different Full lash set’s including classic, mixed and 3D/ russian volume… Confused on which is best? Well there is no right or wrong answer, begin with picking a full-ness (classic is 1 lash per natural lash, 3D/ russian volume is 3 lashes per natural lash and a mixed set is a mix of classic & 3d/russian volume). Once you have picked how full you would like the lashes to be book in for that set, when you come in for your appointment you will customize the length, shape and thickness of the lashes with your master lash tech from Prép Beauty Parlour!

We suggest taking a few screen shots of lashes you like from our Instagram photos and bringing those in with you for your consultation. Do you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergic reactions? Don’t worry.. We offer FREE ALLERGY TESTING! An allergy test takes roughly 5-10 minutes, a master lash tech will apply some adhesive to your skin or a gel pad if needed. Wait 24 hours then call us to either make an appointment or if any type of reaction occurs to come in and have it checked.

Why shouldn’t i use baby shampoo to clean my lashes if I can clean my brushes with it?

Baby shampoo is inexpensive and you can purchase it at any local grocery store however it is not a professional product and its not recommended for use on lash extensions. It will clean the lashes however the sulphates will breakdown the glue faster, which means lash fills may become a weekly trip.

Did you know baby shampoo contains fragrance, artificial colours and mineral oils? Oil is a big “NO NO” for lashes and can even cause all the extensions to come off of your natural lashes, Oil free baby shampoo also has a added numbing agent “no more tears formula” which will also cause pre mature shedding. Using professional lash extension cleansers such as FacEnvy will prolong and strengthen your lash extensions and natural lashes!
