Hi Prép babes! We are back to share some more exciting news with you all! On Sunday, May 26th, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Macadam, alongside advanced Asethetic Injectables Nurse Azin will be at Prép Beauty Parlour in Downtown Vancouver to host our first Botox party!

Nurse injector Azin, RN, BSN, BSc, has over 18 years of experience in the aesthetic indurstry. Her eye for symmetry, balance and beauty is remarkable. She has has had the pleasure of training with some of the best in the industry and is currently one of the most sought out injectors in Vancouver. Azin will be offering various treatments including: Botox, lip fillers, cheek fillers, and micro-needling. Before and after of chin augmentation with dermal filler. This treatment is used for profile balancing and has a beautiful effect on making the lips more perky and pouty.

The material used, Belotero, is made in Switzerland and has the no risk of lumpiness that can happen with other fillers. Belotero is a dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid. It is used to restore loss of volume in the face, specifically temples, under eye hollows, cheeks, lips and jawline.

Botox is a neurotoxin that temporarily relaxes facial muscles to provide a smoother and softer look and prevents deep lines and wrinkles.

-Botox- $12/unit at 10% off
-Lip filler- $450 at 10% off for half syringe. $750 at 10% off for full syringe.
-Fillers- cheeks, tear trough, jawline, and chin start at $1,450. However, a full facial assessment is required for exact pricing.
-Micro-needling- $425 at 10% off. Please note, this treatment will be completed at a future date at Azin’s office. However, booking through Prép Beauty Parlour will honour the 10% off special.

So you’ve heard about strip lashes, and lash extensions, but what about lash lifts?

We’ve discussed lash lifts a few times in the past, but we still get plenty of questions regarding the differences between the two lash lift services we offer, procedure, aftercare, etc. I know that when I get any special treatment, I love to read all about it! Even down to the ingredients they use! Are you the same? If so, let’s hop right into it!

First things first, a lash lift is not the same as lash extensions. It does not add length and does not require fills every 2-3 weeks. It is perfect for those lucky ladies with naturally long lashes that just point straight down. Or for those with many long lashes that are too heavy to stay in a curl. The answer to all your miseries? Yumi Keratin Lash Lift. Trust us, we’ve seen the results, and we’re in love! Essentially what the lash enhancing treatment does is bring out the best in your natural lashes. It will lift and curl your lashes so it stays perfectly curled for at least 6-8 weeks! (Of course, some of us have different lash cycles and thus, may affect the longevity of the lashes.) Interested in learning the process? Keep reading below!

If you’re a lover of lash extensions, then you’ll be very familiar with the first steps of the lash lift. Similarly, a gel pad is laid to prevent any of the lash tint to get into your eye. Certified Prép technicians will then apply a silicon bump to lay your lashes on. The sizes of the silicon bump can vary as it determines the curve and curl of your natural lashes. If you have shorter natural lashes, we would most likely used the smallest sized bump, if we use the largest one, your lashes would be flat (This is sometimes used in a procedure that relaxes the lash lift)!

During the YUMI Lash lift, your lashes will then get lifted and perming solution will be applied to each individual lash. The lashes now begin lifting/perming! A fixing solution is then apply over to hold the lashes onto the bump the proper amount of time. Lastly, the lash tint is applied to darken light lashes! Did you know that many brunettes often have blonde tips on their lashes? Tinting them help bring out the length!

After a quick clean up, a keratin infused nourishing oil/treatment is applied ensuring your lashes look extra perfect! Want to see some before and afters? Keep scrolling!

Prép Beauty Parlour Grand Opening Party

After nearly 6 years of being at our old Hornby location, we had become one of the most populated salons in Downtown, Vancouver! Not only did we start to offer more services, we also began to house more talented artists! After a long and successful run at our Hornby location, Prép Beauty Parlour’s founder and Owner Mika decided to move us to a bigger and better space!

Without the support of many of our frequent and loving clients, we wouldn’t have been able to have expanded into such a beauty empire! So we would like to thank you all again!

Another special thanks to the many vendors who were generous enough to sponsor our grand opening event!
